How Readable Is Your Writing: Dr. Seuss vs. Shakespeare?

Bad comparison. Shakespeare wasn’t a writer, he was a playwright. (I realize, of course, @nebojsa.todorovic that it is not your comparison.) Shakespeares words weren’t meant to be read, they were meant to be spoken in the specific and narrow context of acting out of narrative on stage, that is to say a ‘play.’

Of course, Shakespeare isn’t going to be ‘readable.’
