Thank you, also, for the link. I'm not un-sympathetic to the argument, but to accuse the Democrats of first, responsibility, and secondly, lying, here is a little like when I was young and my mother made me finish my brussel sprouts because, she said, there were children starving in China.
My response was to offer to ship my brussel sprouts to China. I went so far as to research international postal rates, thinking it was my responsiblity to feed a child in China...
The point is, and you prove it by actually responding to my piece, is that you think the Democratic voters, if they only knew, would think it their responsibility to, in your words, 'demand better from your politicians.'
Perhaps they would. But the entire point of my piece is that those who vote for Trump would not ever.
The Trump voters, despite knowing better, do not demand better. In fact they deify worse. You can prove to them, all the live long day, that Trump is, in word and deed--and for lack of a better term--an anti-Christ: that is to say, committed in opposiiton to everything Christ stood and died for. Yet they persist.
