Respectfully, the divide does not lie straightforwardly between Republican and Democrat but between those who believe lies and/or crazy things and those who do not.

I have no problem with Biden reaching out to so-called moderates but there ought to be.. well.. a litmus test: any Republican/Conservative wishing to serve in a Biden cabinet, or in any capacity, must VERY publicly repudiate Trump, Qanon, and other crazy things as well as--again publicly-- embrace science, reason and enlightenment principles in general, as well as acknowledge the dangers of climate change.

Those conditions being met, I'm all in. I'm not sanguine.
