So, in some ways, it’s going to take everything you got… and then some… to get out of a dark place. It took an outside perspective (at the very least) to change your behavior and attitudes.

Many people in America think that individuality and community are opposites. This is not true. Only in community can you be fully individual. This is a paradox to those on the dependency side of the dependency-independency-interdependency spectrum but a truth for others.
