In writing (and in all creative endeavors), the artist’s unique style is their most important attribute.

Without gainsaying much else of what you wrote, I have to disagree and say that the most important attribute to any and all writers is how they think. Style is secondary to quality of thought.

I offer as proof this, your very own, piece which introduced to me the concept of interleaving. It’s a very interesting idea worthy of further exploration and that is what made me read the entire piece… not your ‘style.’
